Education Qualification
For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:

- Service in NCC: Must have served a minimum of two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
- Grading: Must have obtained a minimum ‘B’ Grade in the ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:
- Degree: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (considering all years/semesters).
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate: Not required for Wards of Battle Casualties.
NCC Special Entry Physical Standards:
- Height and Weight:
- Men: Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm with correlated weight.
- Women: Minimum height is 152 cm with a minimum weight of 42 kg.
- Relaxation:
- For candidates from North East and Hilly areas (e.g., Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, and Garhwalis), the height is relaxed by 5 cm, with weight adjusted accordingly.
- For candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height is reduced by 2 cm.
- Visual Standards:
- For male candidates, the corrected distance vision should be:
- Better eye: 6/6
- Worse eye: 6/18
- Myopia: Not more than -3.5D
- Hypermetropia: Not more than +3.5D (including Astigmatism).

Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Applications:
- The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to set the cutoff percentage for shortlisting applications, without providing any reasons.
- After shortlisting, the candidates will be informed about their Centre allotment via email.
- Once allotted a Selection Centre, candidates must log in to the website and select their SSB dates on a first-come, first-served basis, within the specified deadline.
- SSB Interview Locations:
- Only shortlisted candidates will undergo the SSB at Selection Centres in Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Kapurthala (PB).
- The call-up letter for the SSB interview will be sent to candidates via their registered email and SMS.
- Allotment of the Selection Centre is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, and no requests for changes will be entertained.
- SSB Selection Procedure:
