Educational Qualification For AIIMS Hospital INDIA
For Specialty Subjects:
- Must hold a medical qualification listed in Schedule I or II, or part II of Schedule III of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Those under part II of Schedule III should meet the criteria outlined in section 13(3) of the Act.
- A recognized postgraduate degree (such as MD/MS) or an equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline.
For Super-specialty Subjects:
- A medical qualification listed in Schedule I or II, or part II of Schedule III of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates under part II must satisfy the requirements of section 13(3) of the Act.
- A recognized postgraduate qualification (e.g., MD/MS) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
- M.Ch. for surgical super specialties or D.M. for medical super specialties (recognized courses of 2, 3, or 5/6 years) or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum Teaching/Research Experience:
- Professor: 14 years.
- Additional Professor: 10 years.
- Associate Professor: 6 to 3 years.
- Assistant Professor: 3 to 1 year.
