Eligibility criteria For Subhadra Yojana

  1. Resident Requirement: The applicant must be a resident of Odisha.
  2. Food Security Schemes: Should be covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). Alternatively, women without NFSA/SFSS cards are eligible if their family income is less than ₹2.50 lakh per annum.
  3. Age Limit: The applicant must be 21 years or older and less than 60 years as of 01.07.2024. Eligible birthdates are between 02.07.1964 and 01.07.2003, based on Aadhaar card records.
  4. Partial Benefits: Women turning 21 after 01.07.2024 will receive ₹10,000 per year for the remaining scheme period. Women turning 60 after 01.07.2024 will no longer receive benefits.

Ineligibility criteria For Subhadra Yojana

  1. Financial Assistance: Women receiving ₹1,500 per month or ₹18,000 annually from other State or Central Government schemes are ineligible.
  2. Public Representatives: Women or family members who are current/former MPs, MLAs, or elected representatives in local bodies (except ward members/councillors) are ineligible.
  3. Income Tax: Any woman or her family member who is an income tax payee is ineligible.
  4. Government Employment: Regular or contractual employees of the State/Central Government or public sector entities, as well as pensioners, are ineligible. However, honorarium workers (ASHA, Anganwadi, etc.) may still qualify.
  5. Motor Vehicle Ownership: Ownership of a 4-wheeler (except tractors, mini-trucks, and light goods vehicles) disqualifies applicants.
  6. Land Ownership: Families owning more than 5 acres of irrigated land or 10 acres of non-irrigated land are ineligible.

Requirements For Subhadra Yojana

Requirements to Receive Benefits under SUBHADRA:

  • Must possess an Aadhaar card/Aadhaar number in their own name.
  • Must have linked their mobile number with their Aadhaar card.
  • Must have a single-holder bank account that is both Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled.
  • If there is no Aadhaar number or a data mismatch, the applicant must enrol or correct the Aadhaar details.
  • If the applicant lacks a single-holder Aadhaar-enabled & DBT-enabled bank account, they must:
  • Open a single-holder bank account.
  • Enable the bank account with Aadhaar.
  • Enable the bank account for DBT.
  • Complete the e-KYC process.
  • In 2024-25, all beneficiaries will receive the full Rs. 10,000 benefit from the scheme’s launch date, regardless of approval date.

How to Apply???

  • Free pre-printed application forms will be available at locations such as Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Urban Local Body Offices, Mo Seba Kendras, and Common Service Centres.
  • Applicants must fill out the form and submit it at the nearest Mo Seba Kendra or Common Service Centre.
  • In case of discrepancies between the submitted form and Aadhaar, the Aadhaar information will be considered final.
  • Applications will be verified against the Government database and, if necessary, through field enquiry.
  • Applicants must self-certify their eligibility, submit required undertakings, and complete e-KYC formalities.
  • Face-authentication through the SUBHADRA Mobile app is the preferred mode of completing e-KYC.
  • Beneficiaries can opt-out of the SUBHADRA scheme through the portal to pass on the benefit to others.
